How Long Do Hope Disc Brakes Take To Bed In?

I've just put it on and so far disappointed. Does it take a while to bed in?

Also fitted some Trial Tech bars which so far feel great (Y)

But I somehow snapped the clip that holds my rear magura to the bars (N) Just about hanging on but is there a way to fix it?

It will hold for a little while but it will be very weak and eventually you will need to replace it.

My friend tried super glue once, but it snapped again soon after. :(

The 2005 levers are crap for that reason, just remember not to over-tighten them.

Too late :(

It will take a while, they take longer than any other brake I've had anyway.

Cheers dude, given me some hope!

Anyone got a good time scale of how long it takes to bed a disc in, I'm getting anxious with my rear one.

I could have sworn my front one was a couple of hours riding, but with this new one I've had 2 good days of riding (must have been at leasst 8 hours so far), but its not even got better let alone bed in.

I see what you did there ;)

:-

best thing to bed in a brake is to get it wet and drag it for a while then wet it again keep doing this a few times and maybe put some mud on the rotor works as a grinding paste to help bed the disc and pads in

Tried and worked well - Very impressed with them now (Y)

Cheers guys
