Limey 3 Stealth Black

I might be the only one but I don't like it. I think the frame looks overly complicated and miss matched. It looks to me like there's too much going on in the seat tube area. I don't like the way the curve on the top tube changes. I think the steel rings on the head tube look really cheap and crappy. The rear drop outs look horrendous.

The bar and stem look very cheap and nasty.

I think those cranks are uglier than ever and the bash guard looks cheap and plain.

The straight forks look wrong and too thin and narrow around the shoulders.

The rear rim looks cheap and nasty with the machined side walls.

I know I've pretty much just said everything looks cheap and nasty but I really think it does.

I really like the fact that Onza are trying to get a good name for themselves at the top end but nothing here is screaming quality to me.

What do you mean the cranks look uglier then ever? We aint changed them.

So you lke rims with non machined side walls? as soon as you grind the rim wont it have that appearance? Oh and at cost they are the most expensive rims out there.

The forks have been changed, They are bulkier on the "shoulders".

Yeah I didn't think you changed them I just think they look disgusting. I've never liked the look of tensile cranks to be honest they look like ugly spanners.

I know the rims aren't cheap I just think that machining on the side walls makes them look like really cheap rims. I'm not a fan to be honest.

I'm not having a go or Onza bashing I'm just giving an honest opinion.

I can see what Joe's getting at though, to be fair. They're aimed at being a comp rim, and I can't really think of many comp riders who are gonna run a smooth, non-machined rim? They're virtually all gonna be ground, so they'll look like that almost instantly anyway.

You said it better then me Mark,

I know your not having a bash but I just didnt get the rim comment. If I thought you were bashing I would not have responded.

The Frames should cost between £329 and £349 and they will be on shop floors in about a 6 weeks I thought we would have them now ecept they just missed out on a shipment and now we are waiting to pop them on the next shipment Moore Large receive.

well i love it joe ! ;)

and to anyone who slates onza your just a bunch of sheep following a deng shephard ! :giggle:

i have ridden alot of onza bikes and have loved them all as im sure alot of people would agree ! to top it off they are always helpful and easy to deal with .

considering the cost of producing these pro series frames eg. design, geo, prototype tests they have to win hands down on there RRP.! even though they may not meet everyones taste !

The bikes look even better in the flesh. Had a quick go on Andrei's black one at portland the other weekend and it rides so so nicely, it doesnt look as overly compicated either. If they are the same proto forks ive seen in the back of Drei's van please beef up the legs everywhere, they looked scarily butted and tapered. But overall how can you knock, a light weight, feature packed, high quality competition frame that only costs £350, when in the current market everything else is another couple of hundred pounds on top of that?! Bargain if you ask me. I am tempted.

How is it that nobody rides these frames apart from people who get them from Onza? Are they too expensive/snap happy or something?

They aren't available yet, apart from the mods. A few people ride the mods who aren't onza factory riders, somebody down here is getting one of the mods next week I think.
