Crossover Help.

The person who I bought my bike off made their own crossover, that is alot longer than the standard ones, so I have chopped it down ready to fit. But my local bike shop are complete wankers. I have been waiting for the standard magura bleed kit (which has all the clamps etc), how can I fit it without all of the clamps?

I know this is more of a common sense thing but I would just like ideas.

Cheers, Jack.

Make sure you cut the end of the crossover nice and straight, then hold it in boiling water for a while to soften it up.

You really do need the clamps in a vice to make it easier, seeing as you need to tap the barbed fitting in with a hammer. You coulld get a wooden block, drill a 5mm(?) hole in it, cut it in half, then use that to clamp the hose...
