Jason222
I wish leech would ride a real trials bike. He looks awful on that thing.
Matthew62
That bike is perfectly suited to the sort of riding he wants to do though!! A comp bike wouldn't suit him one bit.I can see why people have a problem with his way of making videos, sharing his views etc, but thats what riding is for him and thats helped form him as the sort of rider he is. I don't think he's not enjoying his riding - quite the opposite. If you listen to what he's saying although it comes across very calmly he is expressing just how much he enjoys riding, which is why he's doing that tour!In terms of the video - love the way it was filmed. When it comes to making a bike video, the American's/Canadians do have us licked....they're usually a pretty brash bunch but they put our videos to such shame. That was made like a really good BMX documentery. Their street always looks better as everything is usually so angular and they always seem to film around the magic hour/sunset. All our street videos of off cobbled streets or awful shopping centres....although we can't help that much.Just a very stylish film and the high frame rate sidehop was pretty nice. I do love the way he rides a bike and i personally find much more enjoyment in that sort of style then to how a lot of trials is developing....nice to see some flow! Jason222
That bike is perfectly suited to the sort of riding he wants to do though!! A comp bike wouldn't suit him one bit.Not a comp bike. Just a bike that doesn't have -40 bb and a suspension fork. His bike is honestly so far from being a trials bike...it's ridiculous.
Matthew62
Why is that a problem though? Over classification of what someone can ride due to what type of bike they're on is pointless, it only acts to restrict this sport. He can ride amazingly well and he is more than happy to do so on that bike as he enjoys it and it suits him. I'm quite sure he'd change his bike if it was holding him back or he didn't like it.Sure you don't see many front sus trials bikes.....but so what? So many people limit this sport by creating devisions of riding styles and bike set ups. I was in Birghton last week with my bike and i saw a guy on an Inspired riding with someone on a GU stock.........so what we must instantly devide them as one must be a street rider and one a TGS guy? Right? Whats the point.Ryan Leech riders soooo much more creativley then the majority who ride traditional trials bikes.....for instance whilst the likes of Hermance, the Coustelliers etc are phenominally good riders, when they street ride i find it soooo dull to watch as its just comp riding but on 90 degree edges... perhaps a huge part of what makes his riding is the bike he rides. He's a multi-discinplinery type of rider who from what i've seen just like to be out on his bike and encourages others to do so also.I think we all need to just ride a lot more and not just talk about riding. I hated all of them (especially Chainreaction 5 which I couldn't watch all of).I also got Earthed, Sprung (best of and volume 5) and tricks and stunts. They KICKED ASS over all the American and Canadian DVDs! especially the Sprung series! The UK vids came across much more *real*, going out and having a laugh with friends rather than the over-the-top seriousness of our friends over the pond. Roam made me laugh too. They are talking about "all you need is a bike, the will to ride and the spirit of land to be truly free" (or something corny like that). The VERY next scene is them all DRIVING in the hills with their bikes in the back!
Muel
God I hated that, I turned it off half way through, how Emo can you get about riding a bike!

JackMeek
Hmmm was that dylan corba on a BLUE MBK norco in blue. LOL. Ha Ha. Well I like the video. But there is nothing special about the quality because it could of been filmed so much better. The riders made that heep of sh*t camera work watchableI would love to ride a massive fallen over tree. most are all small in this country. Connor Powell
Riding was pretty decent, Video is Way to serious, never been a fan of vidoes where people talk in them, Needs to be riding and having a laugh with your mates, not getting tied up with the serious shit. I loved the shot of riding across that huge tree that had fallen over a rivine.
