Grinding it wont help, the parts were the angle grinder didntgrind is still going to be contaminated. So get some white spirit and run it around your rim with preferavly a cotton rag. The take off your pads and clean then with white spirit and sand down just a little layer, just to make sure. :)

The pads should just slide out unles theyre phat pads which seem to stick.

When I pulled out Ross gardner's ones they came out as easy as brand new placsitc backings.

Yes it is terps it is very good works well thanks to all of your comments

Its oiled based... so your rims will still be far worse than they could be as was said.. everyone thinks white spirit and wd40 are miracle cures, THERE NOT!!

I had the same problem with my Magura. Mine burst aswell (N)

All you got to do is find out where you burst your brake and find out where the liquid is coming out from

If its the cross over you may need to get a new one or if your cross over is still quite big. you could cut it down to size.

If its near the brake lever blade you just cut the part which is burst and just re-place the barb into the hose and add and olive.

That might seem confusing but that happend to me (N)

Just thought I would give you some advice (Y)

If your still experiencing problems with your brake ask some one with a bit more knowledge than me lol

If any fuild gets onto your rims you could jst use a wet towel to wipe the fuid of or you could try and burn it of if its stuck on and other option is a re-grind

Either way that should help out a bit (Y)

Thanks Darren :)
