ogre
aspire velotech, unless your buying 2nd hand, then ebay and TF could land you a bargain.
JonMack
If you're after a BMX ISO then finding one second hand is gonna be very hard, there are only a few floating around and I would never sell mine, so you'll have to either get a 2nd hand BMX, then buy an ISO disc shell for $85 and get it fitted by Tarty for £10, or buy one brand new from Aspire. psycholist
If you want a serious buzz from the hub try industry nine and Superstar rear hubs - 120 engagement points compared to the King's 72. The i9 might work for trials, wouldn't trust the Superstar for trials at all, but it's sweet on my XC bike, though the freewheel mechanism did need a stripdown and clean after a year... JonMack
He rides a mod. You won't get a CK BMX under £200 new any more. The exchange rate has fallen so much that they're now £270 even from Aspire. If you want good quality, you have to pay for it, there's no way around it. Sam F
Can't people read? Jon Mack has just said there isn't many floating about and the exchange rate has fallen alot now so there more expensive that £200.Chris got his just at the right time so he was very lucky and to be honest, if you don't know how to service it properly there's no point getting one as it will just blow up on you. Captain Scarlet
I find it a fair enough reason.Love the noise when pedal hopping it just sounds so smooth, the audible difference can change your style completely. One of the reasons I always wanted to go rear disc is the smooth style and that you can hear the freewheel a lot more. Mine has only ever skipped while trackstanding, I can't remember a time it's slipped gapping in the 3+ years I've had it. Well once on the very first ride. It's been a while since a good hub fight has broken out. Bring on the bashing from the Hope Lovers(F.Y.I I have no problem with hopes either, I would run one if my King were to die/wasn't so pimp)

Otacon
do they make a noise??Pritty much any decent freewheel or freehub does, there's just no hub/freewheel on the market that sounds like a Chris King. Personally i find the noise of a Chris King rather irritating, I'd go for the Hope Pro 2 trials rear hub to be honest, Louder than a un-cleaned out King, so you don't have to mess about with it straight out the box and have the general clicky noise, but alot louder and not the annoying King Buzzing noise.
