JT!
Its not speltG.UI know, it's spelt GU. Both capitals. Like JT, your pronounce it Jay Tee. Like OK too, it's Owe-Kay. Not 'Och'. Edited April 6, 2009 by JT!

And anyone English who pronounces Yaabaa as yay, yee or any other stupid variation, i don't like you.

JT!
Figure it out I can't, but look at MBK how do you pronounce that?Oh, you were talking about adamant? That's a word, it has a capital at the front and the rest arn't. Unlike GU and MBK. Edited April 6, 2009 by JT!
JD™
The only person/people who can say how GU is meant to be said are the creators of the GU name. Till then, all we have is opinions and interpretations. It's like the business I am creating at the moment, I was writing part of the name as 56 but for some reason people were reading it as five six, so I changed that part of the name to be fifty6 so that it was said the way I had created. psycholist
I pronounce ENO as it's written - the only brands I don't to that for are those where the initials do not form a pronounceable word, forcing you to list the letters in order to say the name. But then I couldn't be bothered pronouncing the 'e' in Nike to make it rhyme with pikey either... Edited April 6, 2009 by psycholist

JD™
So you say eeeno instead of Ee En Oh?What's this world coming to?You chose to move to America, your opinion is now null and void.I pronounce ENO as eeno, but ACS as Ay See Ess. I just go with however I see the word original, and for GU that was 'Goo'. I think it's mainly to do with not think that GU stands for anything. JonMack
But aren't you arguing that GU is pronounced Goo?ENO and ACS both have vowels in them, but you pronounce both of them as 3 individual letters, why should GU be any different to the rest?ENO is pronounced Ee-no, ACS is pronounced as three letters, A C S, because it's easier to say "my Ee-no freewheel broke" rather than "My E N O freewheel broke". With ACS, If you said "Acks freewheels are shit" people wouldn't really understand you, so you say "A C S freewheels are shit" instead. I understand what you're saying with GU, the fact it's in capitals means you should say Gee You, however, do you say Zed Oh Oh, or do you say Zoo? (If you search Zoo on tarty, you'll see it's written as ZOO! on every product description). MBK cant be pronounced as a word, so you say Em Bee Kay, rather than Mmmbuk, but GU can pronounced, so people say Goo. HoweverYou chose to move to America, your opinion is now null and void.Is also true, in no time you'll start pronouncing Zoo Zee Oh Oh. Tomm
Argh this really pisses me off.Right. Here's the deal. Anyone who pronounces czar as C-zar, Caesar, K-zar (wtf?) is a moron. Czar (Pronounced 'zar') is an actual word. The other ones I can understand though - I always said goo but I can see why people might say Gee You. JT!
Is also true, in no time you'll start pronouncing Zoo Zee Oh Oh.Well ZOO! Is an exception. durkie
So you say eeeno instead of Ee En Oh?What's this world coming to?Haha...sorry to screw this thread even further, but I think it is supposed to be prounced Eee-no, because it is just the word "ONE" backwards - it's their single speed line of products (if you've seen other white industries ENO products, the letters are all written backwards)ACS is just Eh see ess though.and i abstain on GU
