staphan
Alright, here's my first "real" trials bike and it rides lovely! But1) what year is the frame?2) what fork is it (standard fork for the Level Boss perhaps)?3) what year are the Maguras?I'd be more than happy to have those questions answered by anyone who knows or has an educated guess!Quick SpecsRear wheel: Alex DX32 rim, Hope hubRear brake: MaguraFront wheel: Mavic Cross rim, Mavic Cross hubFront brake: Avid BBDB, XTR lever, 160 mm rotorCranks: Truvativ HusslefeltPedals: WellgoStem: TitecBars: Try-All "Yourself replica"Brake boosters: One Tensile 4-bolt, one Echo (I think) 2-bolt. The strenghts from both combined = win Forks: Echo Urban (thanks to the replies down under )Highest on the wishlist is a pair of new, nice foam grips.Pic time!I bought it for £425, what do you think about the price? And what would you upgrade first if given the option? Edited April 5, 2009 by staphan
Ali C
2006 I thinkForks look like Echo Urbans, deffo not forks that come on Koxx bikesYour Magura is a 2005+ modelI would say "nice bike" but I really think those frames are quite ugly, sorry they ride nicely though!I would upgrade those bars, they are possibly the worst feeling things I have ever held onto. Ali C
its either a 205-2006 frame, Iolo rode one when he was 2006 British champ, I am pretty sure they were new when he rode it.The Forks DEFFO look like urbans to me, They are not any type of koxx forks

Ben John-Hynes
Thanks, in what way are 04's better? They don't break as easy. And in my opinion, they feel a lot nicer!
Gandalf the Yellow
good luck with that front wheel if you're planning to do any gap to fronts! if it hits a point too hard spokes will pop out and your wheel is dead because it's straight pull...nice deal though, you can sell on one of those boosters. not a lot of people ride them levelboss anymore!steve

I do have another front wheel from my old bike that I could use instead. It's a drilled, red Sun rim with some standard hub, would it be better for trials riding? That will put me on Vee's though, which means I'll also have to switch to my Planet X fork, hmm.. Edited April 6, 2009 by staphan

toyota200x
Great looking bike and it would look even better with a smaller front bash. Keep riding that front wheel as long as you aren’t riding like a hack.
