hdmackay
Yeah, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to...But maybe I'm wrong.
Guest
the 19" may be to wide, and, the brake will miss the rim, but it can be done. A freind put a 19" on a onza tvee proper had smash the rim in.
Dave!
The rip has v-brake mounts, so I'm guessing you have to stick to a 20"wheel.Unless you can somehow move the mounts/brake calipers down...
JackC123
NO!!!, the Onza Rip is the equivilant to the T-vee. So it has 20 inch rims on it. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=10 it's stated in there. Research before you post man!!. JT!
Long story short your brakes won't line up properly. I've heard some people do it, but you're much better off waiting until you can buy a new frame - one that would take a 19" rear wheel, and upgrade both at the same time. sstein
It's the same thing, surely? Not really, my mountain bike does have 2.4" tires, but I can put thinner ones on.
Ben John-Hynes
But for this specific question. A 19" wheel wouldn't work in that frame as the brake mounts aren't made for it.
