Guest
cycles cant shorten the cable and if they did thats a re bleed, aint got the money and bed in, its quite old so it should of bed'd in by now
Skoze
Forget about Cycles UK, do the work yourself! As for bedding in, it doesn't work like that, if it has new pads/ rotor, you'll need to bed it in, find a big hill, ride down it dragging the brake, put water on it, go to the top and repeat a few times. bigamac
I change from what i said before. It looks mint.Rides shite for trials.sorry nick but it's not made for 24" wheelsget some 26" and it will be ridable.
Skoze
Luke, you have no idea, so shush.Nick built it as a street bike, not a pogo stick, it is still rideable for a bit of hoppy hoppy and it's f**king brilliant for what it's been built to do. I thought my 609 felt shit street-wise after getting back on it sunday. I still maintain that that with 24s and no brakes was the most fun i've had on a bike. And Prawn, i totally agree with you, i couldn't get to grips with it for 'trials' when i had it with 26"s - hats off to Rich for being able to ride it so bloody well!
