siyross
Now then.I am well on my way to being a competent rear wheel hopper. forteh
As you hop upwards slightly turn the bars in the direction you want to go, you will find that you will move the bars in a sort of circular scooping motion and the bike should pivot around the rear wheel. As you get better you can do it without the hops and just pivot on the spot, takes a bit to practise though Im left food forwards and my easier way to turn is to the right, I can turn to the left aswell but its not as smooth or controlled. Annihilation
"It's all in the hips". Where is that from?Get used to throwing your hips around, it will help you with anything that involves turning. As has been said, twist the bars a bit as you travel upwards in the jump. You'll not turn particularly fast, but you should turn. You might want to learn to do what I do later, which is to go from two wheels, pedal-kick to rear wheel and turn 90deg in one move. It's a similar technique, you'll get the feel for it.
EnnBee
I think that the phrase is from happy gillmore staring adam sandler as a hockey player who turns to golf to save his grannies house. The phrase is from when chubbs is teachin him to play.
