Ben Swales
The trouble is, we all have full time jobs and other committments, so none of us have really got the time to work on something like that. Maybe one day...
Rusevelt
Pity really, when you consider how successful the 'Dirt'series dvds have been for the UCI Downhill scene. It would be a sure fire sell to have dvd showcasing all the rounds of the worlds, the behind the scenes antics, the practice runs. It really needs to happen... craigjames
Hahaha you do realise these people that produce the online vids for Dirt and the Atherton project for example, receive money for their time and services, they don't just do it because they can! Pretty stupid thing to say.
Ben Swales
Yeah, you're right, it would be nice to see a DVD like that. The DH scene is a lot more commercially viable however, which makes it more attractive to companies etc. and more worthwhile putting the time, effort and money into creating season/event DVDs and the like. There just isn't the same (commercial) interest in trials, so people (I, based on some knoweldge and experience, assume) don't want to risk putting all their time, effort and money into a project that might not even break even, let alone make them any money. I didn't have the time or money to even go to any of the World rounds last year, let alone buy all the equipment etc. I'd need to make the DVD or to sit down and actually edit it etc. Hell, I barely have enough time to keep up with all the stuff we want to put on the site as it is. I think for the time being you'll have to be content with web edits and the odd DVD segment, and you'll have to wait patiently for them as well Edited May 4, 2011 by Ben Swales

I'd imagine that the majority of trials riders wouldn't buy it though, and considering the majority of trials riders isn't that big anyway I doubt it would be successful.
