Ben Swales
link? Or is that it? http://www.tribalzine.com/?The-2011-Koxx-Sky-frames EDIT: pictures are pretty crap arn't they? any chance of some decent ones? + more angles? Whoops! Sorry about that! I was off work yesterday with suspected food poisoning (not nice) so probably wasn't concentrating properly! My post has now been edited with the link. You could always have gone to the Tribal Zine homepage though The article's been updated with the weights for each frame and we've just seen a picture of Vince's full bike:
Greetings
Not worth a separate thread but I just read this. Love the idea, probably won't work for trials but it's a superb use of gearing to improve braking performance.
Ali C
haha, I had that idea yeeaars ago. I dismissed it due to the amount of play it could develop, chains stretch and would snap through the loads developed not to mention the extra weight and costs. I think it would be better to go the rout of moto trials and have a massively over built caliper but with a much higher piston ratio, this means you could use a much smaller, thicker rotor (possibly alloy) which is less likely to bend and rub the pads (necessary as the pads would only move a fraction). Works well enough to hold a 80kg bike and rider, so surly could be made for biketrials too?
