The bike arrived today. :P I'm rubbish :( I've been playing around on it for the last hour and I'm knackered. :sweatingbullets: Mind you I never expected it to be easy so I'm not disappointed in my lack of ability. If you have to work hard to achieve something the success is much sweeter.

Fundamentally life is pain :P... At least you'll have got something for it/be able to explain it if you're sore from messing around on a trials bike :)...

I love my Echo Control - it's the best trials bike I've ever owned, but then again I haven't owned a lot of 100% specific trials bikes - up till a few years ago I still used MTB's modified to be suitable for trials...

... you lasted an hour!!! Doing better than us then :D

Speak for yourself. My fun sessions normally last somewhere between 4 and 14 hours with the higher end often being weekends. You really feel like dying after two 14 seshs in a row.

Hell yeah, Hammer away at the basics a little every other day*. Rejoice in the minor achievements and you will grow. Soon the minor accomplishments turn into big stuff. Such is the way, grasshopper.

Keep at it, mate. I've been doing terrible for months and I refuse to give up. Realistically, I'm probably doing fine, but I am only comparing myself to the big time stuff I see on Youtube and Vimeo.

*Unless rainy days are approaching then ride the hell out of it.

Its true, turn 30 in a month and a 3 hour session kills me now :(

Need to get some more riding in to condition me better :D

3 Hours?? I'm blowing out me arse after an hour. :S (but then I am still crap) It seems the better you get the less effort it takes.

I found what I think might be a good spot to practice spot deep in the forest of dean while I was out on my mountain bike last night. I'm gonna go back to take a few pics and post them on here to see what you guys think.

The better you get the more efficient your movements become and you waste less energy :)

10 years ago I could ride 12 hours solid on me bmx :(
