16 years later
So I need a new digital camera. But not to sure what to get. I've been looking at the canon powershot G7 (link http://www.canon.co.uk/For_Home/Product_Fi...ot_G7/index.asp ) and the Samsung wb500 (link http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronic...ra/Product.html )I am needing the camera for school work, art mostly photography stuff and also just out and a bout. I want something good but not super expensive. What do you think I should go for, either of those 2 or something different?Your help is much appreciated.Thanks. Revolver
£200?You might be able to get a second hand DSLR for that, which for photography is, well, excellent. And on the plus, when you CBA, you can use it in auto mode.I can't see anything wrong with either of those cameras though.

16 years later
Can't go wrong with a G7.Really? I have heard some good things about them. Have heard they can produce noise pictures. The zoom of the Samsung is better. Which do you recon would be better?I prefer the look of the G7. A friend has a G9 which she loves and it seems very user friendly. Thanks for your help.
