ibs_m
Where can I get some 24 inch coloured rims??I ideally would like some of the pink rims the guy has in the pink street vid but not sure where to get them from? Or a pair of yellow rims but rear one ground down? Ideas?ThanksIbs
eskimo
I think Tarty used to sell some. Seems they only have Yellow left. If that's wrong then they're probably just Neon rims or similar branded. That video was pretty cool too.

bigamac
As rainbird said, spray them. Because then you can get the exact colour you want. Go halfords.

Skoze
Yep, i think those rims were BT's - search through bike pics, one of the guys had fluro pink rims on his inspired.I'd get some rhyno lites and some paint, personally
Revolver
I'd have the v!z ones in purple, but they don't come in purple =/I might go for another rim colour and spray them.
J Trials 31
Spank rims makes some fluro green ones. Worth a shot.
spaceman
Spank would be a good choice. Last I recall they had nice colours like green and brown. Not sure of the weight though.VIZ seems to be very wide at 46mm! Doesn't seem too good for streety moves.

Think the spank rims are disc only which is fine for the front but need to grind the rear one!Someone please find me some rims!May have to resort to re spraying! Can you get the anodised finish yourself or anything close to it?

Luke Rainbird
Most 'disc only' rims will be absolutely fine with a grind in all fairness. The 'disc only' thing about them tends to be that they just don't have machined or parallel sidewalls specifically for rim brakes. Obviously if they have paper thin sidewalls or a very un-flat profile then it may not work, but in most cases you'll be good to go
sayshell
I have 24" viz rims. They are really good quality rims, when I laced them its one of the very very few rims that was perfectly straight, I didn't even have to tru it. I don't know why you wouldn't want them, the flower holes are impossible to see if you use the same colour rim tape as the rim. They don't make them in flouro colours though. When you say coloured u want flouro right? Biketrialstation sells them in a lot of colours Edited March 31, 2009 by sayshell
