ding_dong
as it says, iv used the VBRAKE version now for ages on the front on a smooth rimBUTwas wondering if anybody had for the back? on a smooth?ive used the search to no avail...i read summaty on here the other day about a guy using them on a crome rim on the back and the brake beeing that powerful it was ripping the material out of ther backings so sound like they work just a bit too well. Mr Motivator
Yes, I used to have some. They were pretty good on a smooth rim, and ok on a grind but wore out very quickly. They're good if your running a front Magura with a smooth rim. .mitch
I used Spanish Fly for a few pairs. I found that they were ok in the wet and the power was decent in the dry, had like a light squeal as opposed to the modern, louder pads. But I found that they didn't have much material and didn't really like the feel at the lever.I still have a pair lying around, might chuck em in and try again in modern conditions...
