Also, in primary schools now, children are being taught about homosexual relationships, and there will quite understandably be some parents who are going to protest this. Parents will make silly jokes, or say things about the stories being told in school about how 2 male penguins fall in love - (I read it in The Times newspaper a few weeks back), which of course the children are going to pick up on and thus repeat the things their parents say. If this new policy does become legal, I would certainly like to know at what age a person may be punished for the offence, surely they won't be able just to throw someone in prison? And what about Gay's themselves? Do we know how they feel about this? What ever happened to good old Freedom Of Speech? This country's pathetic. It really is. Other than the fact they have far better things to worry about at the mo, isn't this a bit overkill? I'm not going to do a Noel Edmunds and be all "It's Britain gone maaaaaaaaaaaad" but I think it's kinda stupid.I have to say, hand on heart, I find a fair few racist/homophobic/sexist jokes funny in the right setting; jokes about disabled people, Irish guys, black guys, queens, Muslims, people in wheelchairs, abortion, rape, blah. Nothing *too bad*, but just 'light-hearted' humour and never in situation in which I judge that offense might be taken. Nothing wrong with that, right?Haha that made me giggle.
