Echo Hub Problem?

Lewis-Trials

Recommended Posts

Hello, i was riding loughborough and Bunny on sunday and the rear wheel was all fine, I got to bunny and at the end of the day about 4 i noticed that my hub axle moves side to side about a couple of mm or summit like that, And when the wheel is in the frame you can move the frame side to side as the hub is not tightly together with the axle, its strange because its only just happened so any idea's of what i can do.

Cheers Lewis

Anyone i need help, Because im going to put the bike in the shed and not use it again if not.

So because your hubs playing up your going to quit? oooooook then..

The bearings may have moved out of the cups slightly meaning the axle has some side to side movement.

If not it could be knackered bearings.

How come we have had the same problems with our Onzas hmmm maybe the answers in the question

Id be surprised if it lasts if you bodge it back

sounds like you need a new hub like me (or axle - Im unsure about this)

good news is you have a freehweel so you can get a fixed hub from tarty which arent too steep

get the bike fixed in the shed then see you in a few weeks (Y)
