Luke Rainbird
Alternatively, use the feedback system to make it easier to find info on a seller you're considering dealing with?
Sam-Addy A3
Fail. This is going to get loads of bitching and will be closed before the first page is full.I thought that might happen, thats why i said just say their display name and the reason why to avoid them, but your probably right.Alternatively, use the feedback system to make it easier to find info on a seller you're considering dealing with?No one gives bad feedback because they are too scared, can't be bothered, or forget.Sam
Luke Rainbird
No one gives bad feedback because they are too scared, can't be bothered, or forget. So which of those problems is this thread going to solve?Seriously, it's there for this very reason, man the f**k up and use it

I just thought it might be a helpful thread but i guess everyone thinks its aload of bullshit lolSam Edited March 15, 2009 by Sam-Addy A3

Robwalker
No one gives bad feedback because they are too scared, can't be bothered, or forget.SamProve it? Problems happen because there are a few tiny flaws in the feedback system. I don't think you'll ever hear of a full member who has been trading on here for years all of a sudden stop and not post goods, its because people who are full members, but don't really use the forum much wouldn't think twice about an easy opportunity to rob someone of their money. Unfortunately that's life, and the majority of sales do work fine and safely through the forum. However there will always be that niche who like to screw people over. Adrian
So which of those problems is this thread going to solve?Seriously, it's there for this very reason, man the f**k up and use itdude if you give someone bad feedback, what do you think the first thing theyre going to do is? errm give you bad feedback back... which makes it not worth it as you wont be able to buy and sell stuff and for no reason... so the feedback system is pointless, it should make you agree to whos buying and selling or something before the transaction takes place... Luke Rainbird
If you've done nothing wrong, on what grounds can they give you negative feedback? If the seller is that much of an asshole then drop a member of the moderating team (though I'm not 100% sure anyone but Danny/'turd can do it) a PM and get it sorted

Muel
It does say somewhere that you can get feedback removed, if they give bad feedback back then it just makes them more likely to get more warns, then get banned.
Greetings
Am I the only one here who thinks this is actually a good idea providing we keep it neat and clean?Like the pad review thread, a scammer review thread would help lots of people. that NBR dude
Providing people use it in a responsible and mature way, then it could be a good thing.Ebay had a similar problem in the way that people wouldn't leave negative feedback, for fear of getting negative back from a disgruntled seller, tainting the buyers reputation. I will hold my hands up and say I'm one for doing exactly the same, I've never left negative feedback, as I don't want to receive negative in return. What they have now done, is sellers cannot leave negative feedback, only the buyers. Maybe a similar system could be implemented here?
