Alex Dark
right, you're running what are essentially cross country pads on a smooth rim...never gonna work amazingly im afraid ( unless you run a chrome rim )So, two choices...either grind your rim and get some suitable pads ( coustsinks, phatpads, koxx browns, old crm's etc )only dis-adavantage here, is removing rim material when grinding...so sidewalls get weaker, leaving the rim prone o dents and flatspots after 7+ grindsor, keep your rim smooth and get some better pads ( plaz crm w. tar , zoo pads, dark pads etc )although, wet weather braking will be nigh on non-existentup's and downs to both choices...oh, and use the search next time...plenty of topics like this

onza boy27
Get some new pads as the original ones are rubbish and it will work better with a brake booster and grind your rims.I doubt it now but sometimes its just they need a re-bleed.Josh. Alex Dark
4 options Buy some new pads definitelyMove you're calipers closer to the rim so long as the lever doesnt pull too far in, this wont really helpPlay with you're TPA no, always set the pads up with no tpa whatsoeverRe-bleed them << although shouldn't need doing yet seeing as you're bike is still new really shouldn't need doing, especially if it has the factory oil bleed in it
Jack Morton
Or get some Tar Or get you're rim grinded < but if you do that you can say good-bye to you're warenty .. Sorry about the spelling
Matt Vandart
I'm sorry but I disagree with the lot of you.If you set up standard factory bled, standard pad maguras properly with a rim with no tar or grind, they work well enough for most things early on.If you have the money then buy new pads, but learn how to set up your standard ones first and then when you get new pads they'll work amazingly. If you set up your brakes with the new pads craply, they still won't work.Matt
elliott the onza man
I had this problem with my T-pro quite a while back, it really bugged me too. What I did was just gradually built it up.1. I bought some new pads, Adamant ones which are not sold any more.2. Then I also went on to get a booster which makes your brake hold so much better.Hope this helped.Elliott

Callum.Curwood
Plazmatic still have my vote, excellent summer pads. You don't have to grind your rim so that means it will last longer
