Hey, I went out this weekend and on sunday I snapped my HS33s cable a squirted fluid up my leg. then later that day i somehow snapped 4 spokes which a massive buckle in my wheel. Luckily my birthday is coming up and i was thinking of a whole new drive setup off tartybikes:

Bottom Bracket: Try-All ISIS

Crank: Try-All ISIS 160mm

Pedals: Try-All Aluminum Caged

Freewheel: V!Z Seventy Two

Sproket: Echo TR Screw On 12t

Hub: V!Z Screw On

Rim: Try-All

Bashring: TrialTech Alloy Twin Bashring

What does everyone think? Is that a good setup.

160 mm crank arms don't sound so fun either, get longer ones mate probably trialtech forged are best value for money. wich also means you'll be able to afford a better freewheel (Y)

If you got the extra money get the Echo SL rims and change the V!Z Freewheel to Eno.

V!Z are dangerous.

all my v!z part are fine.. so far.

but i wouldnt not recomend them to you, there good hubs+parts.

where are you getting the v!z from? ... have fun trying to get them if its from t-uk.

lol...xxxxxxxxxxxx

Get this SFK BFR-600 while its on offer, might as well its only an extra few quid, they're quite heavy though so iff your a weight weenie get the tryall, I used to run one, they're good BBs

These cranks: Trialtech cranks

These pedals: VP pedals pretty much exactly the same as the tryalls but like £5 cheaper

Freewheel: Tensile freewheel best freewheel i've ever used.

Also, to sort your brakes out, get a Magura Rim brake service kit from cleanbikes, £15 and you get all the spares you'll need to sort your brakes out.

The SL rims (and whole product range in my mind, but thats for another day) are bullshit, stick with try-All or if you;re a basher, get some of the normal Echo rims.

I'd have to agree, my mate Adam has SL rims and they buckle soooo easily its unbelivable!
