Sam-Addy A3
Hey guys, I currently have a Compaq Presario C300, but it is just not powerful enough for all my vid and picture editing etc etc. I don't have enough money for a new laptop, so what do you recommend would be a good upgrade to make my laptop more powerful and faster?ThanksSam

Haz
Is it a laptop or a desktop you have at the moment?

Haz
Yeah, in that case, upgrading your processor isn't really an option, unless you really know what your doing.I'd probably check out Corsair, Kingston and Geil, who will all be able to tell you what kind of ram you'll need on their respective websites.http://www.corsair.com/http://www.kingston.com/http://www.geil.com.tw/

JD™
Cheers, will have a look Anyone else?Sam It literally is just a case of more RAM, maybe a faster HDD. If you don't stretch to changing the hard drive, a nice fresh format and re-install can work wonders if you can be arsed to back everything up.
