Aaron.Tottman
http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=sergit...os&start=80there's a shed load of ryan leechs 'how to' vids as well as some really cool vids by verious other riders.first time i tried side hopping i could bunny hop bout 30inchish at the time.trackstand next to the wall bout handle bar width away from the wall, 1 both brakes locked, all in one motion, 2 lean back and low to start, 3 as your leaning bk pull on the bars, 4 hop and bend you legs, 5 before you hop lean towards the wall.you'll find that you'll hop bkwards, thats were you need to get the peddle kick in.keep your weight on the chain, hanging you weight off the bars, now the same as no' 3 but pullon the bars and let go of the brake and throw you wieght up and to the bars.this is all a ruff jist. but how i pick up side hops.didn't reallt start doing them in backhops till i was i little better.if you keep doing what you know, and keep doing it till you can do it with your eyes closed...everything else with become easier. kyeo00
Thing to remember is slow down...just take it one step at a time.If you rush yourself and try landing the thing as fast as humanly possible its more likely you'll fail/bail.As far as sidehops go...find me a wall, get on the back wheel, find balancing point (trying not to rush) and then using my upper body throw everything upwards with a kick of the pedals and tucking my legs like no tomorrow...at the same time trying to see where i want to land and aiming best i can to get both wheels inline for the final landing. ...or something like that. Thanks alot- i'm gonna try this as soon as i get out Love you dave!mat.
