dc13
Hi every one, I am looking for trials riders in the north wales area, Im in Denbigh.Im starting to build up my first trials bike, and thought it might be usefull to try a bike or two to see how i like different stem bar reaches etc.I have done some searches and been looking at other peoples bikes, but Im a total noob to trials so i havent really got a clue which direction to go with my first bike.So far I have an Onza T-Rex (2001) frame with a rear maggie hs33, so i really am starting from scratch, and on a tight budget too (i cant post in fs or wanted yet so thats out :$ )If you ride near me say hello, if not and you have any surgestions as to parts and the like then feel free to add your comments. Thanks in advance people,Daz
stoozie
Have a look at the new Onza mod range seen here. They're good bikes for the price. And as your new to trials, a mod would be perfect to get you started. When I've been to North Wales (Prestatyn/Rhyl area) I've never seen any trials riders Allways take my bike with me when I go though. Heard my mum talking about she wanted to go up there to see my grandma in a few weeks, you can try out my Zoot if you like? (24")msn is on my profile if you want to talk more about that edit: just been a bit of a silly and seen that you've bought a bike to build up. Ignore that first bit Edited March 12, 2009 by stoozie

(24")Sounds good, Im 6ft 1 so i think a mod might be a little small for me, but a 24" sounds interesting! have you riden stock bikes to compare the two? stoozie
Ahh, yeah, mod would be a bit small. My freind has a Phase 1.3 stock, I prefer 24" as I couldn't get the balance point on the back wheel of his bike. Apart from that I've only ridden my mod, and my other freinds mod (which is terrible, it's still got a 20" back wheel bless him)How far are you off of a full build as of now?
