Milford Cubicle
Hi just re-started riding and my brake isnt working all to well, just re-bled it as but its partly down to the pads so looking to get some new ones. What pads would work best on a smooth rim with a really flexy frame? I have used the search un not found anything.... enlighten me if you can.Cheersbillx

eskimo
I know you used search but try it again. Use the word 'smooth', highlight 'Search titles only' but keep 'All Forums' listed. Plenty of topics there...

Muel
I'd recommend CNC backings, they make the brake a lot stiffer, I doubt I'll use anything else.I've never used a smooth rim setup though, but I know a couple of people who swear by original Zoo pads with a tiny bit of tar.
