George ZHI
Hey, Basically my magura hs33 05+ model keeps splitting the cross over for no reason, may this be because there is to much force on the front break?i have been running a front magura for 2 years now and its only just started happening. i split 3 cross over in one day, so its costing me alot of money in the long run. is there anyway to stop it splitting so easily? And by the way tape doesnt work for me either ha. when it splits is either one i jump off the back of the bike or when i do a gap to front, so it's randomly happening! I dont really wont to spend all the money on a braided hose either so any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks George.Sorry if im sounding like a newb. Dave!
I know you said you dont want to pay for braided, but it will work out cheaper in the long run if you keep breaking the plastic ones. so pay that little extra and it will save you money over time. Thanks.
Ben John-Hynes
Think about it and apply some logic. It didn't happen before, and now it does. You've obviously done or are doing something to split them.

grant_hundley
If he's snapping them on a gap to front, maybe his knees are catching the crossover? That happened to me a few times when i had front maggie..

WIGAN
mate get a braided cross over defo, the same thing was happening to me just on the rear and i got a braided cross over about 2 years ago now and its still going, not split once
Le @ Tnn Engineering
It's real important that you use a proper magura hose clamp to clamp the hose keep the hose short for stiffness and try WARMING the hose with a lighter to ease to barb going in and it must be 100% straight as you tap it in or it will case the barb to cut into the hose and weaken it. You'll never even notice it until it fails.
