Muel Posted February 25, 2009 Report Share Posted February 25, 2009 Which Mono? If it's a Mono Trial I wouldn't recommend it. I recently changed back to a standard one on the front, loads more bite and hold than the gusset.I think it's because the Mono Trial pads are a lot deeper than most disc brakes, and the Mono Trial rotor has a deep braking surface so your using all of the pad, whereas the Gusset has a much shallower braking surface so you're only using part of the pad.
