bikeperson45
In my school we have a very strict school uniform, but i've been told that if I don't get a new jacket for tommorow, I get it confiscated fot 2 weeks. My jacket is fine, no logos, just because it has two colours. It's not like their bright colours, navy blue and grey down the sleeves. But my school expects me to go out and buy a plain coat tonight. Anyone elses school have crappy rules like this?I'm bringing down the system.
Ashley-Wood
if we had trainers on we had to go get plimpsoles from the office lmao.
Hannah Shucksmith
Go in wearing multi-coloured clothes. Then, when they tell you to remove it, do so, tear off the multi coloured shirt, tie, trousers and underwear, stand their naked, and see what your headteacher says then.Oh, and yeah, my old school was the same, no coloured coats inside the corridors. 1a2bcio8
It seems they've forgotten the point of being at school, which is to learn. When finicky appearance overules education, the education system isn't doing so well.I feel for you, chap.

People not wearing the correct uniform used to piss me off though, it makes the school look shit.
Ladd
Our school is fine we wear what ever jacket we want everyone, white school polo, black trousers (get away with black Nudie jeans ) Black school shoes, (Get away with black nikes or other black trainers)
Hannah Shucksmith
At the school I'm currently at, we get away with alot, but my headteacher seems a tad racist, she's fine with any student but myself wearing a religious symbol, of course, I understand it is compulsory for the more religious Sikh's and so forth, but she confiscates the cross I used to wear around my neck, being no more than about 2 cm big, and the chain not even reaching the top button of my school shirt. I told her I wasn't going to take it off, and so she threatened to put me in isolation, and if I refused still, I would be suspended. At my old school, our uniform would be priced up to around £200, paying something ludicrous like £15 for a tie, even the plain white shirts had to be bought from a special school uniform shop. If I were you I would just give up, it doesn't really sound like you're going to achieve much besides a suspension. CONFORM FOR THE W|I|N. Captain Scarlet
My school started getting ridiculous by the time I was about to leave, basically a new headteacher came to power and changed the school in mental proportions (it is almost like a new school now, and he's been there for about 3 years), so in some ways this is very good. But a lot of it was just to show off his importance, and make himself look good, he did bring in a nice new uniform but the gash idea of uniform cards and clip-on ties (for safety apparently), yet rather than peanutting each others ties, it became a game of unclipping the tie and pummeling each other in the head with the solid clip mechanism.Definately sounds overboard at your school, get your parents involved and get them to complain about it, especially in the current economic climate, some people can't afford to go out and buy jackets on that short a notice. Tom_
I actually miss school alot! I used to do things such as soaking my own school shoes in water so I could get a note off my tutor allowing me to wear trainers. I also somhow managed to get away with wearing a hoody to school everyday when they were banned, and everyone else seemed to get them confiscated.School was some of the best times of my life, I could mess around and not do to badly, however now its all got far more serious! what with uni prospects etc.

LukasMcNeal
At our school we have uniform cards and if you have your top button undone etc. you would get a warning on your card and if you get 5 you get a detention. But luckily my mate nicked a stack of the cards so i have loads of them!
