planck
I'm new to all of this, saw some guys doing what I assume is trials near to me - think I saw it on the extreme channel too.Question: Why do you not have seats, what do you sit on when pedalling around?! Alex Dark
some trials bikes have seats, usually oldskool, or streety framesSeats have just got smaller until they're now uncommon, due to the weight factor, and how much a seat can get in the way when riding or bailing. 1337 Trials
Extra weight and the little seats look stupid anyway. The bike looks alot cleaner and smoother without one and its not needed anyway
Skoze
All the cool trials bikes still do have seats.Sam knows. Seats are cool, and should be brought back. (hence why i'm reppin' one)Seats have just become obsolete in 'modern' trials, mainly for clearance purposes. All the super low standover is just avoid anything getting in the way, so obviously having a seat there isn't gonna help. onza boy27
Keep them lighter, and you do not ride a long way in trials so you don't need a seat.Josh.
gu trials
montys and some onzas have seats which are very small but kinda comphy depending on how long you sit down on it lol, most others dont have seats because it is extra waight and it is so you can get more tucking on the bike when you sidehop or back wheel, it also helps for better balance hope i helped, you can sit on boosters depending on how big you are in height. sometimes it hurts you knees but not a lot
t-bird tom
The reason why trials riders don't have seats, is because of weight loss and they get in the way.
mike-dyson
I like the seats on the astons justice bikes, it's just a bit of plasic to stop you slideing down the frame, it's light and realy near the rear wheel so there shouldnt be a problem with clearance. Or you can alwayssit on your tyre or your bars.
onza boy27
If you want a seat on a bike you cant fit one on, If I'm correct you can get a Monty strap on seat.I think so anyway.Josh.
