Andrew Willis
Hi lads, tried to get the freewheel off the cranks today and it wont budge, the bike shops have tried it aswell and they say it wont budge so it looks like im going to have get a new outer shell. The egadmentments in the outer shell are fooked well, 2 of them are so i need a new outer shell. how do i get the bearings out of the current outer shell that i have on.Also some of the pawls are chipped, could this be the reason that my outershell has cracked? All advice and opinions are well appreciated.ThanksAndy(Y)
AdamR28
Also some of the pawls are chipped, could this be the reason that my outershell has cracked?Hmm, probably not, but it does sound like it could do with an overhaul. If the tabs aren't too mashed, feel free to send the crank arm to us and we'll whip it off for you (only charge will be postage back to you). We've not failed to get one off yet CheersAds
