Pashley26
There's this site, it's called "google" to be honest you might not have heard of it. But it's a really good tool for when you think of random shit that you want an answer to, all you have to do if type a few keywords into it and it tells you everything. Amazing shit. Check this out, all you do is type in "Monkey Pet UK" and it comes up with all these answers - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&cli...amp;btnG=Search

Correlation there pashley26!?!?!?Theres no "joke" about it.It's a f**king stupid topic and question, especially seeing as theres a sticky with over 600 pages called "random small questions" just 3 topics up.And you can talk; user group, red banner under your avatar ? Joe_Elding
Well yeh because they both mean the same thing pretty f**king obvious correlation really...Hardly a bad topic, i did actually google it and the only results that came up were links top other forums where dickheads like you gave him a stupid sarcy answer. Dr. Nick Riviera
Now now ladies, take it to MSN.Sam, owning a monkey is far too much effort and trouble and money than most people can be bothered to expend, perhaps you should stick to laughing at them when they have sex and piss in their own mouths like the rest of us. adamtrials
Someone near me rescued monkeys (From where ), they had 3, they put nappies on them and had them in the house playing with the kids. So it may be possible, somehow...

Now go learn how to use google, and a post office....After a few quick searches I've managed to find out that it is legal to have some types of monkey as pets, but there a pain in the ass. Some breeds require a dangerous animals license.

Pashley26
None of this would have happened if you'd just done this in the first place right? You must be a woman. Just looking for a reason to moan.[Rant]Oh yeah, but if I can do it why can't others ? It really annoys me when people who know how the forum works make new threads when theres already threads that can deal with it (In this case RSQ). Like the 4 car problem threads we've got..... First of all there was the "Post A Picture Of Your Car" thread which obviously led to discussion and is now FULL of people asking for advice and stuff like that. Then a few people get car problems and make threads, then a few more people get car problems and make new threads (all the time most people are just asking there Q's in the first car thread and getting proper answers from people who know what there talking about) and then sombody makes a designated "Car Problems Thread", then two people make new threads about there car problems whilst the "Car Problem Thread" is still on the same page (as well as the Post a photo' thread) !Which annoys me considerably.... Long and short of it is theres A) No need to even make the thread from a "it's easier to google it than make a new thread" point of view. And B) because theres already an Random Small Questions thread which will cater for this sort of Random Small Question. So why not use the RSQ thread ? Like pretty much every other topic in Chit Chat, theres no need for it !!! [/Rant]Yes, I am very much like a woman in this sense..... weirdoku
Honestly, don't think many of us are experts on the topic and most of us very likely turned to Google, which you should have. Or the random small question thread.Peace.EDIT: Just realised there's no peace smiley, maybe we should have one. Robwalker
The fact is shit-chat has gotten so dead recently, and half of it is probably down to people not wanting to start threads because of people complaining. I mean seriously, what harm has the guy done? If you don't like it, there's no need to post in the thread right? And dont give me that balls about bandwith and using up the servers storage. That never came into account when starting a 'post a pic of your underage missis half naked' thread did it now? No, there is no peace smiley, but this pirate one more than makes up for it. LAZINESS thats why......And Rob, It's not "THIS" thread thats annoyed me. It's the fact that nearly every thread in Chiit Chat recently is tripe, we haven't got any good debates going on at the moment and the number of topics that have had to have been closed simply because there a load of bollocks in the last few days is ridiculous. But yeah, I'm not getting anywhere here am I ? And I've been digging myself out of holes all day (4x4 thread) so I'm giving up now ! weirdoku
Sometimes I wonder why there's a chit chat section at all. If I owned this forum, I would have all the sections except Chit-Chat. Want to talk about something else? Go to another forum, this would keep the trials forum a trials forum. I'm pretty sure there more people talking in Chit Chat than the actual Trials Chat.Or we could have a chat room and no Chit-Chat section?Back on topic, why do you want a monkey? If you are looking to get one. Edited February 23, 2009 by weirdoku
N.Wood
Maybe its just me, but I have a life outside of trials, and OT is great and all, but not really the same.If every thread got pigeon holed into an umbrella topic, it would become more of a database than a forum, which isn't all that great. Night Haha, there was a semi reasonable debate in the guitar thread, which lasted for about 20mins. The forum is lacking abit though atm.And you, who said there should be no chit chat gtfo, there are alot of members on TF that are good friends/dont ride trials anymore, and chit chat is a place they can discuss there own thing etc. and gives people a chance to share knowledge and opinions on other topics. It makes the forum a far more social place, I tend to dislike forums with no chit chat sections, as they feel like far less of a comunity. Robwalker
Good point, but i do fell that chit chat keeps the humorous more laid back side of the community alive, which is pretty important. Yes people loose there temper and handbags are swung, but better in here than in the middle of Trials Chat which could quiet easily appear when someone types in Trials bikes UK into google. Guess what i'm trying to say is the forum owes itself a professional reputation, and chitchat helps maintain that by diverting all the stupid crap about monkies away form the useful information about the sport.
