Gogz-
Personally I wouldn't bother spraying it unless your going to give it to a professional to powder coat it. The DIY paint job's are never going to be as strong as pro spray job I sprayed my bmx once and I wont bother doing it again (unless you like the tatty look). I think it lasted an hour before a slight knock against a wall or something stripped a patch of paint off 6" down the top tube. was not happy bunny. Revolver
I think you can get a decent job of it, providing you do a good job.Lol.You need to use primer, then 2 or 3 coats of paint, and then lacquer. That's what would happen if it was done properly. Make sure you prep the frame properlly before hand, take your time inbetween coats, spray in the warm. Have a go, if you mess it up you can then always get someone else to do it, chances are you can do it right yourself though.
1337 Trials
I will be getting it done proffessionaly for £40 and I think im going to get it shiny black I was thinking maybe go stock as im 5ft 11 and im a big lad for a mod but I can't really afford it so I think ile stay mod as it rides quite nice and I may just spend the cash on going ISIS and get my current frame sprayed Edited February 23, 2009 by 1337 Trials
