Matt Vandart
http://www.trialsqueens.com/ - Site for female trials riders! Is a good start. We do see a lot of girls join and quit the forum and trials quite quickly. Best bet is to buy one of the cheapest mods (mods are bikes with 20" wheels as apposed to stocks which have 26" wheels (the difference between BMX's and mountain bikes)).Girls tend to prefer mods as they're easier to throw around, they tend to be easier to learn on.So, buy this...http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=10And get in touch with your local riders. My girly (Kath) joined this forum and immediately got bombarded by horny teenage trials geeks, this put her off and I don't think she's posted since.A word of advice to you lot, if you want more girls to join trials forum and stay, stop hassling them on their first post, lul them into a false sense of security................... . Not saying that anyone has in this topic, but seriously gunning in with stupid comments is not the way to go.On topic Hello new girl, can't remember name...................oh typical.Kath had a 24" Zoot first but is was plainly not suitable so she went for a mod and improved immediately, I'll point her to this thread. Katkin
Hi more girls hoorah. I have an Onza T Bird at mo, tried a 24" zoot which was too heavy, tried 26" too big, so im using my oldest sons t bird to see if that is any good. Trials is a good laugh once you get into it. I started about 6 months ago, and i can do a few things, track stands, balance beams, wheelie, endos and zap tap up things about 18-20" high. Finding somethings pretty tough because im only small and strength is an issue, but hey these things come with time. Have fun xxx
