Muel
I've made more mates on here that i make an effort to keep in touch with than the mates i went to school with, we just have so much more in common, despite living really far apart. anzo
I think I've met about 3 people from this forum, Tom Booth, Andy Jan'something' and Inur.I'd consider them all to be friends, but Tom more than most simply because of the very similar sence of humour and all that shit; Plus the son of a bitch and his bitch are attending my birthday (or else). Fishy
Yeah I've made a lot of good mates through the forum and through trials, I consider them all to be mates, I might not see them a lot, but they are still mates. Jon Mack, Matt Orrrrrr, Kevvy Babes, Simps, Mr Rainbird, FP to name a few.

JonMack
I've got loads of friends, some of them who I've never even met but get on with well, and others who I have met who I consider friends. People like Fish, Skoze, Rainbird, Scopse, Simps are people i'd consider friends who I've met riding, I'd consider Haz and Callum (Has anyone...), Circus and Tom Hutley friends and I've never met any of them, just chat to them on MSN every now and then and play XBL with them, and Dr. Nick is one of my best friends, even though we've only met once, we chat every day about all sorts of shit. Matthew_Gibson
I have met a few on here. Rob, rocky, the carlisle boys, Havent seen then in a while due to no bike etc etc. But 1 person on here that I could trust, is Luke, Never met the lad, but the amount of times we've delt together he has always been awesome. Dan6061
I've met a fair few people off here, which I'd consider to be friends. Why does it matter if you never see them? What about penpal's etc, you'd probably never actually meet them, but you could still consider them to be a friend...
Prawny Baby
im the same as you, but i trust the people i ride with alot more than my random mates. In that case, fix your damn bike and come riding with us more often Ash!!!!Edit: I started off riding with my school mates, then over time, I started making new mates from all sorts of places through meeting up on rides and finding we had other shared interests.I'd definately say I've found some/most of my best friends on this forum over the past 8 years
Ben John-Hynes
I've got a few really good mates out of riding. And loads of people that I consider mates.
Mark W
I think as a result of spending so much of my time riding, I tend to have more 'riding' friends than I do 'normal' friends, simply because people who ride are generally people I relate to more. When I'm in uni, generally my only connection with people is photography, and so there's not really much to go on. They come in and ask me what I did that weekend, and it could be anything. I ask them, and it's "Went to Shunt, did a shitload of coke, it was so fun!". I can't really relate to that, so even though I see them most days, I wouldn't classify them as friends. However, there are people on here and who I've met all round the UK (and further afield) who I'd consider to be good friends despite not seeing them as much.Having said all that, I'm a fairly solitary person so I don't really feel like I need to be surrounded by friends all the time. I feel pretty lucky in that I'm in a situation with my life now where I have friends who are there when I need them (And I'm there when they need me too, obviously), for whatever reason, but don't necessarily expect me to be around 100% of the time. That probably sounds pretty weird, but that's largely because I can't really think of how to describe it...
