trials_pimp
Right I bought a new headunit for my Capri. Worked perfectly all the time it was in there. Now while re Capri is off the road I moved the headunit I to my daily driver (nissan micra). Now the micra only has front speakers where the Capri had 4. The problem is that the headunit is overheating in the micra. It's not an airflow problem as the dash on the micra is alot more open than the Capri. The headunit is physicly to hot to touch and it fades out the speakers when it's hot. Does anyone know what could cause the headunit to overheat? I'm thinking it could be high reistance in the earth lead or in the speakers.

Pashley26
It will probably be getting to much power, causing it to overheat.

ZHI-sam
well the fact it works in 1 car fine and not the other would lead me to think its a power overload making it heat up
