Revolver
I take it it's the drop gap that's in at the end, and everyone cheers as you do it?Brilliant riding aside, that atmosphere alone is inspiring; I've never really rode with that. Jack Chinnery
Kinda weird to say but, Connor Powell Jack Meek and Rossy G.They are all lush to ride with and so inspiring. Was on google looking for a mototrials forum other than TC, stumbled across this and had a nose about, few weeks later I was on T-uk, was looking at full builds, sent a link to a mate and he goes "well, number one : dont buy fromt t-uk, buy from tarty if anywhere.... then he mentioned he was selling a monty 230 urban... got that and watched a few vids from ryan leech's youtube (well, atleast i think its him) "sergitobt"Haven't really progressed much but the mototrials rider Gary Macdonald has taught me a few things about balance and rails... apart from that Danny Mac and Ben Travis's vids have inspired me loads, rode with (read as: sat and stared in awe) Ben, now everytime I watch his video's it really inspires me to ride, never mind how crap I am, I still enjoy myself! However I still stand by the quote, "nobody or nothing make an impact on your skills apart from your own enjoyment"Yeah ive seen that, I dont think its him. Just someone cropping and uploading parts of his dvd.

Stan Shaw
For me I think it's changed over the years along with trials. I know everyone says this, but at the start for the first year or so it was definitely the Martins. I bought all the MBUK's along with Tricks and Stunts etc and I would just go out and try what I had just watched or seen in a mag. Then the Trialskings came about and brought with it, in my opinion a new era to trials. The stuff they were doing at the time was crazy and it was the first group of riders to really make half decent internet videos. I think Nailsea trials also deserves a shout too, always loved their videos. Again I would just watch and learn and then go out and try it.For the last couple of years the top UCI riders have been a big influence. Closer to home and probably the person who has the most impact on my riding is Ali C. He is great to ride with and pushes you to improve all the time. On his day I really do think he is one of the best riders around.
forteh
For me it was the trialsworks riders - Ben Trinder, Mike Fox, John O'Leary and Rich (cant remember his surname now but got a chin like bruce forsyth :$ ). It was awesome riding with zoo sponsored riders

yoyoyo
At the start it was the marts, trialskings etc..Then it was more Akrigg and Ed Toungue, which moved on to John Shrewsbury and Rowan.Recently it has been Rowan, he was always the nearest big rider to where i live, so he'd be who i saw on group rides, now i'm at uni in bristol i get to ride with him more, and watching him in lloyds although quite depressing is very inspirational. Aaron.Tottman
I pretty much taught myself how to ride using Martyn Ashton as a guide from 'Chainspotting' and 'Dirty Tricks and Cunning Stunts' parts. Subsequently JJ Gregorowicz in 'Revolution' had a big influence on my riding and sent me to little wheels. Beyond that I've kind of evolved into what I am by myself...word!!! Revolution was a HUGE insteration. or any thing that came out of MBUK.Ashton & hawyes & Rey got me into itLeech lenosky & gregorowicz Holroyd Riding with Steve Grindal, Rob Warner, Steve Sawnders (RAW-Sports.co.uk) and Ben Bowket seeing what they were doing in moto trials was sick.Ben had an old Monty Ot Pi reptlica which a adopted more than once and purchased my oldskool T-Pro. i was bout15 at the time.then stopped riding. my girl friend talked me into starting riding again bout 5 years later, pritty much self infuenced from then on.i'm shore i'll find plenty of insperation in london on 1st.over all i think Ot Pi is my main influence. awsome demo rider!!!
