Revolver
There's nothing wrong with them, I think I must've cracked mine ages ago because the sound they made whebn they broke they'd made for a good while now when I pulled the brake. How much are you getting them for? TomN
I use to have 2 pair both crack round the v mounts after i move onto a disc however i did have them for a while so i can't complain. I've even crack some urban's boo.
andyb
Mine cracked round the top of the disc mount. As far as im aware they are the same as Fatty R's.
LEON
They're nothing like fattys lol, ever had both side by side? My ashtons felt a little bit longer than the fattys.Leon
andyb
Maybe theyve changed since i had mine but mine were exactly the same as fattys.
LEON
No, they have never been the same lol. There's a huge diff in the quality and the welding, the cannondale welds are all sanded down. Plus alot of people had issues with the disc mounts on the old ashton forks, never on fattys. Fattys have the american thread size brake bosses, ashtons dont Leon

Luke Rainbird
Not had any problems with the 2 sets I've run on my 24" bikes over the years, though I once bought a set for the 26" and they arrived bent. God knows what Calab did to them before they got to me, they had 85mm of rake!

Ross McArthur
My Base forks which were exactly the same as Ashtons, snapped just above the 26" brake mounting position. They took a fair bit of abuse including bumping off kerbs and a fair bit of front wheel move practice. I loved mine.
