Do you need a full HD Television to view the videos?ThanksSam Edited February 16, 2009 by Sam-Addy A3
that NBR dude
no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no and no....Right some constructive help. Do not touch these so called "Full HD" cameras with a barge pole, especially when they are that price. The quality will look like its off a camera phone, and it will be a massive waste of your money. Have a trawl through Amazon and other sites at MiniDV cameras, which will be a much better option. If you want some advice ect about cameras, give me a shout on msn and I can show you through some options. True HD camers cost thousands of pounds for a reason. JonMack
I'd recommend not using ebay if you want to buy expensive electrical goods and don't know what you're looking for.

Matthew_Gibson
My panasonic is awesome, was about £300 but well worth it. sony are good too. If you go for well known brands you cant really go wrong. and you not going to be watching it on a 42" screen are you? any need for HD?? Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload Normal MiniDV cam, not too bad quality....

Simpson
Just get one that records to tape then burn it onto your harddrive for editing and stuff. Mine was cheap bits big and bulky, but the resolution on it is amazing, and the only quality lost is when you compress it to upload it online. Sam-Addy A3
Do you reckon this is any good? http://www.ebuyer.com/product/160521 Edited March 14, 2009 by Sam-Addy A3
Captain Scarlet
I would vote no to any Standard Def hard drive recording camera.... stick to DVAny reason why?, I've heard that DV is bit better quality but thats not a massive reason to buy it over the harddrive equivalent.I bought a Sony DCR SR55E (A hard drive camcorder), for £270 off Amazon.Quality is perfectly good quality for trials use, it has a 40gb harddrive (which I have come no where near to filling). There is a lower model than this (I think the hardrive is 10gb smaller and there is no remote control feature) for £220ish.All of my videos on Vimeo were shot with this camera, so you can see the rendered and uploaded quality for yourself.http://www.vimeo.com/user955015/videos
Toby
ok found this one on amazon DCR-SR75E so would this be a good option or is there any cheaper alternatives ?
Simpson
I would vote no to any Standard Def hard drive recording camera.... stick to DVYea its ok I brought it off a mate for a good price, remembered that I had actually filmed a trials video with it myself and that the quality was good, Southend Sluts and being more than happy with the sound and quality so think I made a good choice for the price i got it at.
