Jack Chinnery
Just serviced it, Streched the springs etc.But im just wondering; Has anyone listened to theirs and checked the engegment. Like mine when spun is like 1pawl engages 1pawls engages then 2pawls engage then back to the begining 1 1 2, 1 1 2 etc etc. That propably looks like a load of shit to you. Should i just get new springs and pawls as the springs are rather wank now?

Muel
It's not a good idea stretching the springs, they can snap if you stretch them apparantly. It's more important just making sure they're clean inside, mines 2 years and 3 months old and it still works nice and smooth, I've only cleaned it out twice. Ashley-Wood
you should of just cleaned it out and gave it some thin lubracant. not to much though
Revolver
Sometimes, depending on what it is, the variance in sound is because of the length of pawls.
Jack Chinnery
Sometimes, depending on what it is, the variance in sound is because of the length of pawls.Thats what I thought at first, I might (when I get some dosh) get some new springs then if shit still happens new pawls. Revolver
If it's wank, it's wank because you stretched it.Just buy a new one or new parts for it and leave it as it came.
