Helmets

its mark

Recommended Posts

Iv been riding for a few months now, and apart from a full face helmet (which i use for downhill) i haven't got a decent helmet for trials,

i know that just about everyone goes on about wearing them and I couldn't agree more !

i was just wondering what you all wear and what you all recommend, i need something fairly cheap (anywhere up to and around £30ish, although i will stretch the budget for some things)

any help will be great

cheers :D

OFFS, Why cant you use the search feature?

Why not be more helpful? All he wants is an answer, if you want to refer him to the search, do it nicely.

As for lids, just go onto CRC, they've got loads! Any giro'll be a safe bet, I love my Xen to bits, despite the fact it's held on my head with cable ties.

Gire e2 or xen off of CRC will do you fine. :D

You seem to suit the ladies helmet though cockshott ^_^

Back on topic...

I've got a giro hex at the moment, they're brilliant helmets; good protection, very comfy and also look good.

I take that back, Sorry to be a twat. CRC = Chain Reaction Cycles are very good. They are cheap and plentyful. I recoment if you are stuck with cash the Giro Hex or Giro E2. But you could pop into your nearest hellfrauds (halfords) for a look at lids. They sell giros. :)

lol i remember a topic on here a couple of years ago about people saying they wont wear a helmet until they do harder stuff

but correct me if im wrong but its more dangerous when your doing smaller stuff becvause your still learning and are more likely

to fall.

anyhoo back on topic lol... I would recomend a try-all pot, cheap and amazingly comfy. Cant go wrong =]
