its mark
Iv been riding for a few months now, and apart from a full face helmet (which i use for downhill) i haven't got a decent helmet for trials, i know that just about everyone goes on about wearing them and I couldn't agree more !i was just wondering what you all wear and what you all recommend, i need something fairly cheap (anywhere up to and around £30ish, although i will stretch the budget for some things) any help will be greatcheers

matt-richardson
Well I have been wearing a 661 Dirt Lid, but that's mainly because its hanging on my street bike which is by my trials bikeI find it comfy and its pretty lightweight, although many people seem to use XC helmets. So have a look at them aswell.

Skoze
OFFS, Why cant you use the search feature? Why not be more helpful? All he wants is an answer, if you want to refer him to the search, do it nicely. As for lids, just go onto CRC, they've got loads! Any giro'll be a safe bet, I love my Xen to bits, despite the fact it's held on my head with cable ties.

Jack Chinnery
OFFS, Why cant you use the search feature? I take that back, Sorry to be a twat. CRC = Chain Reaction Cycles are very good. They are cheap and plentyful. I recoment if you are stuck with cash the Giro Hex or Giro E2. But you could pop into your nearest hellfrauds (halfords) for a look at lids. They sell giros. After all your the one who has to wear it pick the style you most prefere.
