Revolver
You're a really good rider!Seriously, if you want a 24", but a short one, it's the ciguena.Ciguena 24"I've got good reason to suspect that this guy still has his frame, so you could buy it and have it all nice and built up for when you are ready to ride again! This is the geometry:Head angle: 73 degreesWheelbase: 1025 mm adjustableBB height: +20 mm with 400 mm forkChainstays: 380-395mm Edited February 9, 2009 by Bruce Lee
LEON
Cheers! is 1025 the minimum wheelbase? I'm just not sure on the +bb stuff, ive either had + 0 or a bit of a drop.Rest of it seems good though.Leon
Revolver
I can try and measure mine for you.If you wanted a lower BB, you COULD try some mod forks.I'm not entirely sure, but I have a feeling you could fit a 24" wheel in some of them, that would lower the BB.If I had any to hand I'd give it a shot! Luke Rainbird
I'm just not sure on the +bb stuff, ive either had + 0 or a bit of a drop.In order for the bike to feel more similar you'll want a little more rise on a 24" than you would on a 26" Look at mods vs stocks (more apparent a year or two ago); +60ish on a mod and +20 or so on stocks.Similarly, BMXs have BB rise, yet they ride more in the fashion of street MTB in which the 26ers tend to have a fair bit of drop
Ross McArthur
Having riden a few short stocks in my time including Mhz, Ghz, base, Orange, onza raptor, Mk1 Ashton an Edd Tongue and an Inspired. I would definatly go for a 26". The Ghz would probably be the best riding frame out of the lot, closely followed by the Mk1 Ashton. The Ghz is so stiff and I would say more flickier than a 24".So Stick with the 26" and keep it "real" is it were.Your a sweet 26" street rider, dont ruin it with 24" pipe dreams......I did
Revolver
If my measurements are correct, the ciguena can go as short as 1020, maybe even 1015.It was 1025 where I had the wheel, which wasn't completely in. IT goes as longas about 1035, maybe 1040.Basically what I'm saying is, if you can even just ride around on a bike, possibly do some small hops to try it out, you should go to london to try mine, providing I'm going. Revolver
If you got a ciguena, what hub and gear set-up would you be going for? I might have some important information about it.
LEON
I use a bulb with an 8sp cassette, i don't need all 8, could probably do with 5 long as it shifts properly with a normal shifter, i don't want an sis thumbshifter bolted to the seat tube lol.Leon

I've got one, if you do.

toyota200x
Very nice riding Leon. You should get a custom 26" frame made by Marino. Very cheap and a great guy to deal with.

I know i want 1020 wheelbase, small headtube, vertical dropouts, big tyre clearance, v mounts. What are the frames made out of? Couldn't find it anywhere This is the geo i needI'm excited!!!Leon Edited February 13, 2009 by LEON

eskimo
That bike is sweet! The Marino bikes are pretty heavy by the way. I don't think you can choose tubing thickness either.
