22tooth With A 20th Or 18th

Well i know this been asked a few times but i just got a 22tooth on the front. At the mo i runing a 16th on the rear it feels great for streety riding but its alot harder to tap, and go up from close plus it seems like my back wheel is very heavy now too? I can't seem to do bigger gaps (that i could when runing 18-16). Its like i need a bigger run up, starting seems alot slower to pick up!!

I was thinkin of a 22-20 as it only two teeth differnce, so it be more llike the 18-16 no?

So would a 22-18 be better or a 22-20?

HELP plzz :-
