If you were to paint it yourself, the paint would cost about that.

jack0174
to be honest i dont really know how the process works i think its something about the positive charge of the powder sticking to the frame????But all i know is that you will get a very nice finish. nek0
Paint basically goes on dry instead of wet...and yes there are kits out there you can buy if you're willing to take the time to do it.

nek0
I wonder how much it would cost to anodize...much more durable (depending on the finish type) and of course you can save a bit of weight......can't be much but have to say it. Ashley-Wood
ive had a frame sprayed for £20, and free of my dads mate.think its just luck if you get it really cheap some places dont really ask for a big profit on a bike frame.but yeah 30-35 seems right because they have to buy paint labour charges etc.
