sstein
I just bought a BB7 for my stock bike, I am used to using an ultra powerful V, but I ride a lot in the wet. I was wondering what would be the biggest reccomended rotor size and which rotor, was thinking 203. I have planet X steel forks, but I might change to holroyd ones to save weight. Also what pads are most powerful (make and type, e.g. aztec sintered), I know the aztec ones are very good for shimano, but not sure on the avids. Alex Dark
ive used clarks and avid pads ona n avid bb7, 203....Id say avid pads are the best; the general concesus seems to be organic now as well
Ross McArthur
Yea go for a 203mm avid rotor with organic pads. Now having tried both sintered and organic (not for that long for both I might add) I'd definatly go for organic.Plus everyone knows the bigger the disc the more stopping power you get.
