birofunk
nothing wrong with riding old bikes i dont think. Don't have to have a new upto date bike if an old one feels comfortable i think.
Felix
They're aluminium, were made by plazmatic and used special plaz pads. Not really! Those Megamo pictures were taken looooong before the Plazmatic rotors came out. They're actually Megamo rotors that weighed close to nothing and worked like a charm, especially in the wet. The downside was an extraordinary high wear rate of pads and rotor.

robster
This is my bike as it is now, I changed the wheels and brakes in favour of hope due to getting the pads for the ally ones being a pain in the RS.They did work like a dream and were as light as you like but for riding to and from work and lots a playing out the ally ones just had to go.The origional Michelin wild grippers eventually had to go as the front one was a cross country tire and a little prone to monster foldage and the only other thing changed was the long and I mean long stem and flat bars for a set of Rage bars and a try all stem and a set of Welgo mags she's a rippa and I love her to bits.I am led to belive this is the last one imported into the UK by Fred Savage, I got it off him and yes it was still in a box, never riden and it will live forever now in sunny down under I will never sell it.JP
