Rusevelt
Nice little HD documentary blog on ryan chilling out in his hometown, doing a little power yoga, and riding about. When ryan fell over that log at 02:48, i couldn't help laughing until the moment when his bike came crashing on top of him that was freaky. chimpanzyyyy
how does someone so average become that 'famous' if you get what i mean?dont get it WHAT?when ryan leech was the man some years ago, he was A BEAST...he was powerfull as feck, ballsy as heel and soooo stylish...I mean he did the first huge suicidal side hop to rail I ever see, the first huge drop gap aswellnow he looks maybe a bit "has been" but he was really fresh as trialskings or craig/neil were later in time. Someone who pushed so far the boundaries of trials riding.he was faaaaaaar from an average rider
leotrialp
he might be a real beast if he had a "new school" trials bike, but he still with his heavy and old geometry Norco ...Why Norco don´t do a bike with good geometry for ryan??? sponsors maybe??? F-Stop Junkie
Bless you kids, you'll never see what makes Ryan a legend (and incredibly nice in real life)The reason he rides an old school bike is that it works best for his sponsor as Norco don't make anything long and low. Anyway, if it was holding back his riding, I'm sure he'd do something about it...
Ross McArthur
Danny macaskill get someone with a some exspensive camera equipment and shock the bike industry all ready please.Have you been looking into your crystal ball again Jack?Ryans riding has always made me want to go out and ride my bike, ok, ok its not the most jaw dropping but man has he got style. sayshell
haha pretty cool, how does someone so average become that 'famous' if you get what i mean?dont get it I think being famous doesn't have too much to do with being good. People who are famous usually put time and effort and took initiative into becoming famous. If you ride a frame you like but someone says you have to ride this frame you don't like or we won't sponsor you then a lot of people will say no. If you spend all your time just riding then you probably won't be as famous as someone who spends their time making media, doing demos, and trying to get sponsors even if you are a lot better. You can't just expect a sponsor to always find you especially if they are not a bike company. If its a company like mac donalds or something they don't know what is the "best riding" and care more about what makes them sales than what a few elites in the sport think. Norco isn't a trials company and none of his sponsors make trials parts. The reason people like him a lot is also because he rides a mountain bike instead of a trials bike. Everyone starts riding on a mountain bike, but if I saw some guy doing trials on a trials bike I would just assume you need some special 5000$ bike to do it and I would be demotivated to try it. If I saw ryan leech doing it i would be a lot more amazed cause his bike doesn't look special. I think he promotes mountain biking a lot the average mtnbiker will be more impressed by him than any other trials rider simply because they can relate to his bike. But yeah also I imagine he is like Hans Rey. By today's standards hes not good but he was the best at a time. Also if your a company you don't want to change riders all the time because the rider builds a reputation over time and if you change riders everytime some new kid is better you would have a new rider like every week. Ryan leech is probably more famous than norco because he has built a reputation for so long.

Rago muffin
ryan leech amazes me in every dvd i see of him, round rail rides, chain rides, sidehop180'ing drop gaps & and super sick style never fail to impress me! truth... mans pure style, all about lines and challenges and he shows how his riding is metaphor for his life, how it effects him, i guess growin up i shared these ideals, the whole riding is freedom thing, sittin at school gazin out the window thinkin bout the end of the day when i can ride, inspired by leech. so sounding like a twat to clarify, leech aint face value, his ridin stands for deep ideals and shizz, thats what makes him a great rider, the abillity to express, he aint held back cus someone can tap higher then him
