george_seamons
I've just decorated my room, and as such, I no longer have room for my desktop PC in my room, so I'm looking to get a laptop. However, I want to retain the link to my surround sound amp which I have my desktop PC connected to.I've been looking on ebay and ebuyer for some kind of wireless sound card or transmitter/receiver to replace the cable between the two. Ideally it would connect to a coaxial input, but i think that may be asking a bit much! I also have optical, or phono inputs on the back of the amp, so I'm pretty flexible. Does anybody have any recommendations as to what to use, or have any experience of wireless sound? I don't really want an FM transmitter, because from what I've experience from my girlfriend's ipod, its pretty crap, and you lose a lot of quality. If it's going to be really rubbish, I'll just have a trailing lead across my floor, but obviously I'd rather not do that!So far, I've found this, does that look any good?
