Robwalker
Do you actully get trade? or is it just 30% off like everyone else?
Mark W
Even if you're getting it on trade, it'd be a waste unless you change how you live your life and really try and make the most out of that bike.

Mark W
I don't mean that in a harsh way, it's just that that's pretty much the equivalent of buying, for example, a full-on racing superbike, then just pootling about on A-roads on it instead of learning to ride it 'properly' on a dedicated racing track.Random side point - does anyone have a fixed rear hub they want to sell? I'm still running the piece of shit wheel that came on this fixie, and it's about 5 spokes down. 'cos Sam welded the sprocket on too I can't actually change the spokes that have gone on the drive side (all 5 broken ones are drive side), and the spokes are all so old and f**ked on that wheel they need to be changed anyway. Once I've done that (And bought new cranks ) it'll be fun to ride again, 'cos at the mo it's just flexy and poo.
Fixed Pants™
Do you actully get trade? or is it just 30% off like everyone else?I get proper trade, cost price.Mark, i may have an ok looseball hub you can have for a tenner or something? And can sort out the spokes from ma shop, AND can sort you out a Mavic Open Pro 32h in silver, used, and pretty badly buckled when unbuilt (inch either way? Maybe more?) for 10 quid, as it's a 40 quid rim. Does build up straight with a fairly even tension though... It'll get you by kinda thing! forteh
Done it on my supermoto in the wet, was mildly amusing Most cars need to be down to 1st get up some of the switchbacks, I wouldnt want to ride down it without a good set of disk brakes
Robwalker
Yeah because Pants works at a Bikehut standalone he gets it all at trade.Talking of which, don't suppose you wanna buy me some parts pants I was wondering because a few of the Bikehut specialists from Halfords stores complained that they were doing exactly the same job and have a shed load more knowledge than the likes of Fatpants but didn't get offered trade prices, so they were all given 30% discount as oppose to the usual 15%
