Leeson 609 Bump

Recommended Posts

Afternoon sportsfans!

Been off the bike for 7 months now, mainly due to not really getting on with the D15C very well, deals going tits-up, and not really having the motivation to ride. So i've jumped on the 24" bandwagon! All's going well so far, absolutely love the frame and the ride of it, just need to learn how to become a bicycle extremist again! (anyone riding a 24 in London on the 1st, prepare to be quizzed for advice!)

Looks a bit mad, but i like things that are different, and the ride is AWESOME!

Big thanks to the Tarts for the top quality service, and Matt Burrows for the frame :)

Just gotta learn how to ride the thing!

A leesons not Porter proof! Looks nice though!

Haha, yeah, he's a danger to everything! From what i've gathered the head tube madness came about after he decapitated a 660 :P

EDIT: James, well worth the wait!

That looks pretty nice, Matt. Good job. Not ghetto enough to be a proper 24" leeson though :P

How does it feel with that bar/stem? Looks really low to me.

Aye, i'm gonna have to get at least mildly good before things get ghetto, otherwise i'll look like a tit who's just destroyed his bike :P

Bar + stem isn't bad at all! Doesn't pull up massively easily, but it's by no means difficult! When you're on the backwheel, all is good on the hood, as they say in the trade.

This is lush.

I took some picks of my T-Pro today also in the snow.

No ones spotted the little Gremlin on the seat tube yet? i guess its a lucky charm?

Rely nice bike, i think i like it more than an Inspired.

You have to love it more than the inspired. Because this bike is a jesus on wheels. :P

And he has had that gremlin on every bike hes had.

This bike is a dream :)

it rides so nice with the gentle clicking of the chris king in the back ground, The head tube is MAHOOSIVE but has a "nice" paint job that Andy (ANDREX) hate's lol :) the geer ratio is perfect, the brakes are sharp as a razor blade ( good use of english there :) ) It rides so smooth, weirdly enough Simpson can ride the leeson smooth , unlike what he was doing to his BMX. the bike is a master piece , Skoze you have done oyur self proud :)

I never said I hated it, I just said that it looked like they couldn't be assed to paint it properly, with the marblyish effect.

oky doky. who painted it for you , or did it come like that from leeson ?
